Young Enterprise success for Sixth Form pupils

Posted In Academic, Business, Sixth Form

On Wednesday 25th April Bethany School’s two Young Enterprise companies, ‘Lux’ and ‘White Wolf’ went to Ashford School to compete against other local Young Enterprise companies in the Ashford Area Heat. The competition consists of three strands: a detailed company report (that is submitted a week before the competition), a trade stand in which a panel of judges visits each company to find out more about their journey and, finally, a four-minute presentation where team members shared the highlights of their Young Enterprise experience.

Both companies competed exceptionally well and, on another day, Lux would surely have picked up one of the awards. However, White Wolf clearly took the judges’ eye and, on an extraordinary evening, they were pronounced winners in no less than three of the five categories; best trade stand, best presentation and, most importantly, best company.

They now go on to compete in the Kent County Final, held at Oakwood House Maidstone, on the 9th May for which we wish them the best of luck.
