On Monday 26th March, Year 12 pupils visited the University of Sussex as part of their introduction to UCAS and higher education. Sussex is a leading higher education and research institution near Brighton.
Pupils were fortunate enough to have an economics masterclass from Dr Peter Holmes on the impact of Brexit, as well as a talk on pupil life, a seminar on writing a successful personal statement and a campus tour.
Head of Geography and UCAS, Fleur-Estelle Shaw, said: “A good time was had by all and we hope this will be a useful launch pad for pupils to begin some research into their post-Bethany options.”
