Sixth Form pupils prepare for the future

Posted In Sixth Form

Members of the Sixth Form were encouraged to take part in an excellent opportunity to hone their application and interviewing skills on Monday 26 February. The day began with our very own Mr Davies giving a masterclass on ‘what makes a perfect interview.’ Mr Davies used humour and lots of very sound advice to help Sixth Form pupils become more prepared when applying for jobs in the future,

This was then followed by interviewers Nigel Petrie (OBS) and Fiona Jones (Bethany’s Director of External Relations) putting them through their paces: they were asked challenging and searching questions based on the CV’s and letters of application they had previously submitted. The interview was then followed with advice on how they could improve their performance; written feedback was also given.

The 20 pupils involved talked warmly about the experience and felt that they had benefited hugely from it.
