The annual Christmas outing for all the Sixth Form, to have a meal and watch a film, took place on Tuesday 4th December. Frankie and Benny’s was selected to produce the culinary delights and with three films to choose from, what was there not to like? As a result, the vast majority of Sixth Form pupils and nearly all the tutors duly signed up for the trip.
Frankie and Benny’s proved to be brilliant at serving us quickly, so those who selected ‘The Grinch’ as their preferred film, got their three courses in an hour. The rest of us had a more leisurely meal and those that selected ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ were ‘wowed’ by the music and gained an insight into the virtue of engaging, persisting, questioning, reacting and reflecting if you are to be the most successful band of all time (probably). Those that chose Fantastic Beasts seemed happy too. The annual trip proved a great success again this year and is certainly one to be repeated.
