Senior football team beat Tonbridge School

Posted In Sport

On Thursday 7th March the Bethany School senior football team travelled to Tonbridge School. It was a very blustery day which caused a few problems for all players, and Bethany adapted well and took a 2-1 lead into half time with well-taken goals from Jon Choi and Jack Brown.

Bethany dominated the second half with the wind at their backs and added to their goal tally, taking a 4-1 lead before Tonbridge scored a 2nd goal. Sports Scholar, Harry Morgan, crossed James McQueen in the final minutes that resulted in a late goal to seal the victory.

Special mentions go the stand in full backs on the day: Jack Bartram and Tom Golding.
Final score – 5-2.
