Science activities to end the term

Posted In Academic

This week the Science department held whole year group activities for Years 7, 8 and 9 as a team of three science teachers and two Lab Technicians teamed up to deliver memorable science activities.

The pupils benefited from the diverse talent that exists within the Science department. The teachers and the Lab Technicians worked incredibly hard to organise the activities and we are so lucky to have members of staff who can organise equipment at short notice.

Pupils will remember the following activities for a long time: making sparklers, the whoosh bottle, the screaming jelly baby experiment, the Coke and Mentos demonstration, making slime, King’s hand, and rates of chemical reactions. What a joyful way to end the year?
