We received an overwhelming response to this year’s Parents’ Survey, which was carried out at the end of the spring term. This year’s survey received 211 responses, compared to 109 last year, and all parents have received a letter from the Headmaster with a detailed breakdown of survey responses.
Highlights from this year’s survey include:

The range of subjects is suitable for my child: 97% agree
My child’s educational needs are met effectively by the School: 97% agree
The School actively promotes values of democracy, respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs: 97% agree
The School meets my child’s pastoral and welfare needs effectively: 97% agree

The School promotes an environment which successfully supports my child’s personal development: 96% agree
Amongst the many initiatives that have been put in place in following the responses we have received, feedback to pupils on their progress has been targeted this year more explicitly and will continue to be a focus next year. We have revamped our various scholarship programmes and these are being further reviewed and enhanced both this year and next. We have also challenged our teachers to continue to extend the more able pupils in lessons, and our activities programme is also being adjusted this year so that it is more targeted towards pupil outcomes.
Headmaster, Francie Healy, said: “Overall, I am very pleased with the vast number of positive responses. Life at Bethany is about continuous improvement and we continue to focus on improving our provision for all pupils in our care, both inside and outside the classroom. I would like to thank everyone who completed this year’s survey – your feedback is invaluable to us in continuing to improve our provision for your children.”
