The Orchard tackle escape rooms

Posted In Boarding, General

The evening of Thursday 28th February saw almost the whole of The Orchard venture out to the Panic Rooms in Gravesend for our mildly delayed Christmas outing. Pupils had split themselves into groups to take on rooms such as Prison Van, LOOP, Defective Detective, Revolucion Olé and ENIGMA.

Nobody quite knew what to expect and there was a little bit of trepidation as the pupils entered the rooms. Each group had one hour to solve all of the puzzles and clues in their rooms and beat a successful retreat.

After an hour the groups filtered out one after another, all defeated by their respective rooms until, lo and behold, Rob, the two Jakes, Jack and Freyja emerged triumphant from Defective Detective.

We’re not allowed to tell you anything about the games except the fact that the pupils had a great time and can’t wait to go back for another crack.
