Bethany hosts record-breaking Open Morning

Posted In General

Saturday 3rd February saw Bethany School’s busiest ever Open Morning event, with 90 prospective pupils and their families registered to visit our School to tour the superb facilities, including the recently completed 25m indoor swimming pool, fitness suite and purpose-built Sixth Form Centre.

Guests were treated to a showcase from the cast of this year’s school production, High School Musical, and a tour of the school with a current pupil, after hearing from the Headmaster, Francie Healy. Current Bethany pupil (and Head of School) Sean Evelegh also shared his experiences as a pupil, alongside Steph Banham, whose son Ross left Bethany last summer for university after seven years at our school.

One parent of a prospective pupil said: “We were thoroughly impressed with the efficiency of the morning, the knowledge and maturity of your students, the facilities and the general feeling coming into the school.”

Headmaster Francie Healy commented: “We were delighted to welcome so many families to our School today. At Bethany our philosophy is very simple: we keep the child at the centre of every decision made. Our small classes and dedicated staff get to know each child exceptionally well, and we are justifiably proud of our pupils; they are our best ambassadors and their parents are also tremendously supportive. We look forward to welcoming many of today’s visitors to join us as new pupils in September”.
