Old Poplars girls reminisce

Posted In General

The time has come to say farewell to some of our pupils in Old Poplars boarding house.

Housemistress Mrs Jules Wareham, said, “We will be sad to see our Year 11 girls moving on from Old Poplars in a few weeks. Whether they have been with us since Year 7, or arrived in the last year or so, they have certainly all made their mark and will be a Year Group we are sure never to forget!

“Between them, they have kept the tutors and myself busy with their antics, questions and friendships. However, they have all come such a long way from the people they were when they joined Bethany School and are ready to enter the transition between young girl and young lady with confidence. I would particularly like to thank them for their supportive nature, fun-loving attitudes and their work with the younger girls as mentors and role models. Whether they will be moving on to The Orchard boarding house or elsewhere, we wish them all the very best with their exams and their futures and hope that they will keep in touch and let us know how they are getting on.”

The girls will be having their last assembly on Monday.
