Pupils Compete in National Mandarin Contest

Posted In Academic

At the start of December, Bethany School’s talented linguists proudly took part in a national Mandarin speaking contest in London run by HSBC and the British Council.

The pupils really challenged themselves on the stage and gained a great deal of experience from the event, which took courage and confidence. Although we did not win any prize, the experience motivates our pupils to learn more outside the class.

Congratulations to the following pupils who took part and have been awarded a certificate for their participation:

  • Finlay Muirhead
  • Archie Niell
  • William Howell
  • Felix Lawrence
  • Oscar Williams
  • Jake Lancaster
  • Niamh Davies
  • Daniel Akowe
