What do you do at Bethany?
I am responsible for the day to day running of the Sixth Form boarding house (making sure it’s clean and tidy) and be there to support the housemaster and pupils.
What did you do before you came to Bethany?
I was a boarding house cleaner at Cranbrook School.
What is your favourite novel/music/artist/film and why?
My favourite artist is Thomas Kinkade, “Painter of Light”. His paintings are beautiful.
What is your favourite quotation and why?
“I was once afraid of people saying ‘Who does she think she is?’. Now I have the courage to stand and say, “This is who I am.”
What was your favourite subject at School and why?
Art and needlework, because I enjoyed being creative and was surprisingly good at it.
Why do you like working at Bethany?
I like working at Bethany because it is surrounded by beautiful countryside and the staff and pupils are friendly. It’s great working in a team.
What interests do you have outside Bethany?
I enjoy traveling, going to the cinema and catching up with friends and family.
What is your favourite childhood memory?
Holidays with my family by the sea, and my father taking my sister and me to see the Disney film, “The Jungle Book”.
What is your favourite colour and why?
I have two favourite colours for two very different reasons: Yellow for the season spring, and red because it reminds me of Christmas.
If you were not doing what you are doing now, what would you like to do?
I would love to be on a cruise around the world.
