What do you do at Bethany?
Housemistress of Old Poplars, Director of Enrichment and teacher of Maths.
I also teach Games and PE as I am a qualified sports teacher.
What did you do before you came to Bethany?
I have taught at a variety of schools and I have worked in industry for three years also.
What is your favourite film and why?
Dirty Dancing – the music and dancing are just so good!
What is your favourite quotation and why?
Treat each other as you would like to be treated yourself. It makes you try not to be judgemental or to take sides when you are not involved.
Why do you like working at Bethany?
I enjoy the challenge of the pastoral post and the camaraderie of my colleagues.
What is your favourite childhood memory?
Going on a plane, aged 6, to live abroad for two years with my family.
Who is your hero and why?
My Dad, because he has achieved so much, having started with so little, yet he remains modest and humble.
If you were not doing what you are doing now, what would you like to do?
I would love to write a book or alternatively work as a lawyer.
