Date you joined the School
September 2009.

Other responsibilities?
Teacher of English and Media Studies.

What did you do before you came to Bethany?
I was an English and Media Studies teacher and the Literacy Co-ordinator at a boys’ grammar school in Kent.

What is your favourite quotation and why?
Even if you’re on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit there. – Will Rogers.  You should never let yourself get stuck in a rut or life become stagnant.  Even if you are doing okay, keep embracing what life has to offer!

Why do you like working at Bethany
Because it has a ‘family’ style atmosphere about it and a Bethany pupil will make me laugh at least once a day!

What is your favourite School memory?
Banana custard, it is that simple.

Who is your hero and why?
It seems so clichéd but it would be my mother.  There has never been a time that she has not been there for me and I wish I had her ability to remain calm in the most testing of situations.

What is your favourite colour and why?
Purple, because it looks nice and loud.

If you were not doing what you are doing now, what would you like to do?
Work on a ranch in the Rockies.
