Mrs Ceri Mooney, School Receptionist
Date you joined the School?
What do you do at Bethany?
What did you do before you came to Bethany?
I’ve invigilated for Bethany on an ad hoc basis for the last couple of years and am also involved with a local charity supporting young refugees in the area.
What is your favourite novel/music/artist/film and why?
Aged 14, The Great Gatsby opened my eyes to the magic of books and, for that, I retain a great affection for it.
What is your favourite quotation and why?
Don’t argue with idiots. They’ll bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience. – Brian Clough.
What was your favourite subject at School and why?
History, although it took me a long time to rediscover my love for it after being forced to study the Industrial Revolution at O Level.
What is your favourite childhood memory?
Getting the hopeless giggles with my mum over a myriad of ridiculous occurrences.
What is your favourite colour and why?
The greens of nature.
If you were not doing what you are doing now, what would you like to do?
Head off into the wilderness in a beaten-up camper van with my husband and dog. We’d rendezvous with the children for (their) holidays!
