Mike Clark

I was born in Durham where I became a chartered civil and structural engineer working in the nuclear power, off-shore exploration and chemical engineering sectors.

In 1987 I started my own engineering design consultancy in London and learned that charm often won new clients but only hard work retained them.  The practice expanded to over 40 employees working for property companies across London, Europe and South Africa.

In 2012, I retired to become an independent engineering consultant providing advice to party wall surveyors?? and working as an expert witness.  I continues to mentor young engineers working to become qualified.

I am an ex-parent of Bethany School and joined the Board of Governors in 2016 with a responsibility for property and estates.  I am very keen to oversee the continued maintenance and careful development of the campus and buildings.

I live in Curtisden Green and am married with two daughters.  I enjoys vegan food, swimming and the gym but am particularly keen on both codes of rugby.
