I am a solicitor and I have spent all of my career working in the City law firm, Slaughter and May, which I joined in 1984. I am now a partner in that firm, specialising in employment, pensions and employee incentives matters, acting primarily for companies and the trustees of pension schemes.

I have been a Governor at Bethany since 2011 and, amongst other things, serve on the Remuneration and Finance Committees of the Board of Governors. I am local to the school, having been brought up in Maidstone and having lived locally since 1990. Since 2002 I have lived in Marden. I am married with two grown-up children.

Outside work and the School, my main interests are travelling, good food and sport. I remain, despite great age and consequent immobility in the field, a keen cricketer. I am currently Captain of Yalding Cricket Club (new members always welcome(!)).
