I am a proud Yorkshireman despite living in London and then the South East for the past 25 years. I moved to London to study Law at King’s College graduating in 1998. I then chose to pursue a career in media and marketing.

My career has seen me work for some of the largest international Publishers in the world, working with some of the best journalists, editors, and marketing people in the sector. I was fortunate to be involved in the sector as it went through a significant shift from a print-centric world to being at the forefront of the digital evolution. My career mirrored the changes the sector was going through and in 2012, I launched a business to address the growing specialism needed in the digital marketing sector.

I am now an early-stage investor in the technology marketing and advertising space and continue to be driven by a passion for ‘the next’.

I am fortunate enough to have 2 children at Bethany and am hugely motivated by the importance of a balanced education on a child’s ability to thrive in life.

I am particularly interested in technology and the importance of ICT in education, the role of schools in the local community, and the communication between schools, parents, and students.

My spare time is focused around my love for horse racing, my enjoyment of cooking and a strange love/hate relationship with golf.
