What do you do at Bethany?
Teach textiles and art to Key Stage 3, 4 and 5.
What did you do before you came to Bethany?
Teaching art and textiles in a number in a number of prep and secondary schools in and around Kent.
What is your favourite novel/music/artist/film and why?
Local textile artist Cas Holmes, she has been as inspiration for my own work and teaching, and I have attended many workshops along with her.
What is your favourite quotation and why?
‘Don’t worry, be happy!’ Wise words from my father!
What was your favourite subject at school and why?
Art, because this is where I excelled.
Why do you like working at Bethany?
The young people I teach and the amazing facilities for textiles.
What interests do you have outside Bethany?
Free-motion embroidery, kick boxing and looking after my family.

What is your favourite colour and why?
Sage green. I love succulents and air plants in the house!
