Kendon Summer Party 2022

This week was the last week in which all our boarders were still here before some of the Year 11s finish their exams and head off for an early (and well-deserved) summer break, and therefore the perfect opportunity for a Kendon celebration. 

We wanted to include an outdoor activity so that everyone could enjoy the balmy evening summer air so, in the best British tradition, we set off from Bethany in dull, gloomy conditions.

Thankfully, though, the rain held off and all the boys (and staff) had a great time competing in that greatest of levellers, crazy golf at Tonbridge Dino Golf Centre, with plentiful holes-in-one being achieved alongside many multiple bogeys. Scoring was somewhat haphazard but we’re pretty sure that someone won!

We then headed off to Smith & Western in Tunbridge Wells for a celebratory meal. The atmosphere was buzzing, and it was a great opportunity to thank all the brilliant Kendon House staff, together with all the boarders, for their magnificent efforts this year. The food was also outstanding, but it is safe to say that we’ll never feel the need to order starters there again and we returned to Kendon with some very full boarders!

This has been a brilliant year in the House and everyone involved can be very proud of the part they’ve played.
