FOBS needs you!

Posted In Charity, General

Bethany School is extremely grateful for the support we receive from Friends of Bethany School (FOBS). The group plays a key social, ambassadorial and fundraising role in the life of our School, and they have a range of events and activities coming up over the next few months:

Quiz Night: Saturday 10 March, 7pm

FOBS are holding their annual Quiz Night in the Function Suite on 10 March. A fish and chip supper will be served, and all are welcome. Tickets are £10 per person and are available from the School Office. Email to reserve your place.

Funds raised from this year’s Quiz Night will contribute to FOBS’ current fundraising project, which is to support the refurbishment of the School Library.

200 Club

The FOBS 200 Club is our own mini lottery. To take part, you simply need to purchase one or more units (and you can have as many as you like!). Each unit costs £12 and is valid for one year.

If you choose to purchase five units, for example, your name will be entered into each draw five times. We hold six draws each year, with half of the proceeds from the ticket sales given out in prize money and the balance is given to FOBS. It goes without saying that the more people who purchase units, the more money there is in the prize fund pot.

Speech Day crockery smash

Speech Day this year takes place on Saturday 23 June. FOBS would like to run a ‘crockery smash’ stall so please start collecting old and unwanted crockery! Please email if you would like to make an offering to support this event.
