On Friday 23 February, we were proud to host our third annual Festival of Scholars in the School’s purpose-built Dorey Science Centre.
Featuring displays of work from Academic, Art, Design & Technology and Sports Scholars, who were on hand to talk about their interests and achievements, guests were also treated to a programme of live performances from our Music, Dance and Drama Scholars, as well as the opportunity to sample some delectable canapés created by our Food Scholars!
Over 80 talented pupils took part, with highlights including performance of “All In This Together” and “I Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” from this year’s production of High School Musical, as well as exceptional art, design and academic work and a rather superb selection of desserts – including a tarte tatin worthy of note – from our Food Scholars under the direction of Mrs MacRae
The event was organised by Emily Hill, Assistant Head (Academic) who said, “we were delighted to welcome so many pupils, parents and friends to celebrate the achievements of our Scholars in their respective fields. The Festival of Scholars is a wonderful opportunity to recognise what a talented group of pupils we have and to show the results of their hard work so far this year”.
