DLS pupils pitch to the Dragons

Posted In Dyslexia and Learning Support

DLS (Dyslexia and Learning Support) pupils have been working hard to design an invention which will help to overcome a common problem. Pupils had to create sales pitch material such as posters and powerpoints to present in front of the ‘Dragons’.

Examples included a safety glass to prevent burglary, a pop-up shelter to help the homeless and an app that hears when you are crying to tackle loneliness. The Dragons, Mr Winter, Mrs Enticknap and Miss Gray, had to score each pupil for their sales pitch, persuasive techniques and overall enjoyment of their presentation, with some scoring top marks.

Presentations in front of peers can be a daunting prospect but each pupil delivered their pitch confidently and professionally.
