Diversity and Red Nose Day celebrated at Bethany School

Posted In General

On Friday 15th March, Bethany School pupils and staff celebrated Red Nose Day by either wearing an item of red clothing or coming into School wearing your national dress. Participants paid £2 for the privilege with all proceeds donated to Comic Relief.

We are lucky to have a number of nationalities represented in our School population and this was displayed through vibrant Nigerian colours, kilts and berets. A number of activities run by the School Prefects took place throughout the day including: a Chapel service on valuing diversity, quizzes in lessons and a sale of sweets from around the world.

This was a fun and educational day to raise awareness of the value of diversity in our community.
