Bronze award for Maths Challenge pupils in nationwide competition

On Tuesday 30th April, pupils in Year 7 and 8 took part in the UK Mathematics Trust Junior Maths Challenge. This is a nationwide competition that sees over 300,000 students taking part each year over the different age categories, Junior, Intermediate and Senior. The UKMT create a set of 25 questions that get progressively harder and examine pupils logical and mathematical thinking.

The results of the Challenge came back this week and the Bethany Mathematics department are proud to announce that Bronze certificates were awarded to Sebastian C, Femi F, Lily F, Celeste A, Alice C, who finished in the top 40% of the country and also Sam D, who was awarded a Gold certificate for finishing in the top 7%!
