Bethany visits Nigeria

Last week, Bethany School visited Nigeria to meet with prospective pupils and parents, as well as parents of current pupils, on a visit hosted by Nubi Education, one of Bethany School’s representatives in Nigeria. Pictured above is Rose Omonubi, CEO of Nubi Education, welcoming families to the UK and North America Boarding Schools Fair in Lagos on 13th October.

Fiona Jones, Director of External Relations, began her visit in the nation’s capital, Abuja, visiting the British Nigerian Academy and then travelled to Lagos where she visited the Children’s International School, the British International School and The Grange School. These visits were an opportunity to meet staff, parents and pupils, and speak with them about their aspirations for the future, and to answer questions about coming to school in the UK, particularly for Sixth Form.

Fiona also represented Bethany at the UK & North America Boarding Schools Fairs in both Abuja and Lagos, welcoming hundreds of visitors from across the region to find out about studying overseas. The School is extremely grateful to have had the support of current parents, Mr and Mrs Caney, whose sons James and Ben are in Year 9; Mrs Solola, whose son Seyi is in Year 11; and Mr and Mrs Segun, whose daughter Keji is in Year 13, who attended the events and spoke with families about their experience as Bethany parents.
