Bethany School brings some colour to Goudhurst Fete

On Saturday 9th June, dance troupe ‘Rainbow Six’ from Bethany descended onto the Glebefield to celebrate the Goudhurst Village Fete with the local community. There were plenty of events for the spectators such as maypole dancing by Goudhurst & Kilndown CEP School, dog shows and tug of war.

When it was our turn, the Year 13s stepped into the arena with confidence and charisma as they danced to a K-Pop song which originates from South Korea. Director of Performing Arts, Alex Bolton, said: “‘Rainbow Six’ performed a high-quality dance piece at the Goudhurst Fete on Saturday providing local audiences with an opportunity to see their movement skills in action.

“The piece was inspired by Frantic Assembly and received a positive response from all who saw it. Well done to Jerry Guo, Clive Zhu, Lisa Huang, Krauss Qiao, Ariel Li and Mia Miao who took part and represented the School so brilliantly. We wish them all the best of luck for their dance performance at Bethany’s Got Talent on Tuesday 19th June.”
