Bethany goes green with Steam Punk science competition

The pupils of Bethany School’s STEM club came together on Thursday 22nd March to present their costumes for the Steam Punk competition, run by the Science Technicians.

The pupils had nine weeks to create Victorian sci-fi costumes inspired by the novels of .H. G. Wells and Jules Verne. They had to design their outfits from recycled items only, including top hats, feathers and lots of plastic tubes being turned into masks and funky backpacks.

Take a look through our gallery to see all the entrants. We’ll be running a poll on Twitter and the pupils’ VLE so to vote for your favourite head to @bethanyschkent to find out more.
