Art pupils produce ‘Virtue of Learning’ spray paintings

Posted In Creative

As part of our Activities programme, pupils were encouraged to get creative by joining the spray painting group. They learned new skills on how to cut stencils and use spray paints in a more controlled manner. Pupils were given a different ‘Virtue of Learning’ per group and they had to design the lettering, considering colour and layout, practising their stencilling and spray painting to ensure the word was legible and visually appealing.

These large scale boards will be displayed around the school to showcase what our pupils have achieved. They loved getting to experiment with spray painting as well as working in groups to create their pieces. It was a pupil-led activity and they were able to become more independent and creative with their learning.
