A Christmas Message from DLS

Posted In Dyslexia and Learning Support

This Autumn has been a wonderfully productive term in DLS

The pupils have been working on their independent learning skills through some interesting projects from the extraordinary to the mysterious and disastrous. Existing pupils have welcomed newcomers and been excellent role models with the Habits of the Virtue of Learning.

The Christmas break is a good time to clear out the schoolbags and check what equipment has survived the first term – stationery and maths equipment could become stocking stuffers. Other helpful items to wrap up could include a set of headphones, an analogue watch, a subscription to AQUILA magazine (www.aquila.co.uk) or The Week Junior (theweekjunior.co.uk) a spare charger or homework organiser file.

Enjoy the holidays everyone!
