Former Head Boy talks of service in Afghanistan
Former Head Boy, Chris McArdle who is now a Captain in the Royal Marines and has seen active service in Afghanistan came in to talk to Sixth Formers about his experiences so far and the training he underwent.

Historians Abroad
The History Department had a busy term with the senior historians visiting Berlin and the Year 9's visiting Ypres and the WW1 battlefields.

Emergency Exercise
On 4th March we carried out a joint exercise with Marden Fire Brigade simulating a fire in The Orchard (our Sixth Form boarding house) during evening prep time.

Nos Artistes à Paris
Despite a delayed and frosty start to the day, the Sixth Form Art, Textiles and Photography students enjoyed their day trip to Paris just before half term.

Tribute to Former Headmaster
Christian Lanzer was at Headmaster at Bethany from 1970 to 1988. He died on 14th January and Paul Holmes, a former pupil, teacher and Senior Housemaster at Bethany has compiled the following tribute to Mr Lanzer.

Electrifying 'Grease'
From 4th - 6th February, over 80 Bethany pupils took to the stage, with many more perfoming in the Orchestra and helping out backstage for three sell-out performances of 'Grease' at the Queen's Hall Theatre in Cranbrook.
