Sun, Sea & Spanish in Malaga

While their families endured yet more snow at home, 35 students from Years 9, 10 and 11, together with four members of staff "suffered" in the glorious sunshine in Malaga during a six day trip organised by the Spanish Department.

All the students had nine hours of Spanish lessons during the trip and were expected to complete the homework set.

Amongst the many activities organised at the hotel was a Salsa lesson which they all seemed to enjoy!

There were day trips to Grenada, including a tour of the Alhambra Palace, to Porta Banus and Marbella as well as a half day tour of Malaga.

The beautiful weather meant that nearly everyone swam either in the hotel pool or in the sea.  The food in the hotel was excellent but the group also enjoyed several meals out in impressive restaurants.

All in all it was a great trip and the students were excellent.  Thanks to Ms Romero, Mrs Price, Mr Hart Dyke and Mr Briggs for accompanying the students.  Thanks too to Mr Hart Dyke for all the photos - these are available for students to download onto laptops, do ask to see them.
