On 23rd June our Year 9 students experienced a Learn to Earn day, taking part in activities and role play aimed at developing their skills and capabilities for business and employability. This highly interactive and successful day was facilitated by business men and women who added their expertise and enthusiasm to make the day memorable and valuable.
Students took the roles of employers and interview candidates, considered their dream lifestyles, the reality of budgeting and presented their results.
The day is one of a number organised by 'Young Enterprise' and being delivered to schools to provide young people with strong and positive learning experiences, based on the principle of "Learning by Doing", which bring volunteers from business into the classroom to work with teachers and students.
