On 26th March Bethany entered two teams in an inter-schools show jumping competition at Bedgebury Park Equestrian Centre. This was the first time Bethany had entered a competition of this kind and a total of 27 schools took part.
In the junior competition Lana Gillah, riding Tally, and Georgia Jackson, riding Harri, both had clear rounds. Jessica Peters on Golden Daydream did well in spite of the fact that she usually competes in dressage.

The intermediate team had more success. Rebecca Reed had a clear round on Chubley whilst both Tom Jackson on Toby and Jade Hawker on Madonna, had six faults each. They qualified for the jump off and with two further clear rounds ended the competition in sixth place and were awarded rosettes.
Miss Cornell hopes to enter teams in future competitions, in particular the major Hickstead competition in the summer.
