On 24th March Bethany entered a team for the English Schools Curling Championships.  22 teams from nine schools took part in the event which was held at Fenton's Rink in Lamberhurst.  Our curling squad consists of four boys and two girls but as the girls were involved in a drama exam that day only the boys were in the team.

They played two matches against Tunbridge Wells Girls' Grammar and Weald of Kent schools.  They drew their first match but lost the second and so were knocked out of the competition.

The Bethany team has only been curling for one term and so to compete against schools who practise regularly was quite a challenge.  They all enjoyed the event and most of them even stayed upright, although there was one dramatic tumble!
