On Friday evening 10th May, FOBS (Friends of Bethany School) arranged a champagne tasting evening. Julian Walsh, representing the Lamiable Champagne House organised the tasting and educated his tasters on the finer points of the champagne industry.
FOBS provided some delicious canapes, the ingredients for which came from the Weald Smokery and a champagne sorbet was also served from Taywell Ice-Creams (which was recently featured on "The Apprentice").
All in all it was a very pleasant and relaxed evening and thank you to FOBS and to everyone who supported the event. Thanks too to Robert Briggs for providing the musical accompaniment.
