Our location lends much to our appeal. Set amidst the fruit farms and hop fields of the Weald of Kent, between the villages of Marden and Goudhurst, we are an hour from Central London by train (Marden station is only 3 miles away). Gatwick airport is less than an hour away and Eurostar's International Stations at Ashford and Ebbsfleet are even closer.
From the A21 (London/Sevenoaks/Hastings trunk road)
Take the A262 for Goudhurst. In the centre of Goudhurst village take a left turn at the pond. This will be the B2079 (Marden). After about two miles of winding road, take the right turn at the crest of a hill. This is signposted Curtisden Green.
From Maidstone
Take the A229 from Maidstone. This is the road for Hastings. A few miles out of Maidstone the road descends a steep hill at Linton. After a further mile there is a right turn for Marden (B2079). Follow this road into Marden village, turning right at the centre, following the road for Goudhurst. Two miles on , at the crest of a steep hill, take the left turn signposted Curtisden Green.
From Cranbrook
Take the A229 from Cranbrook travelling in the direction of Staplehurst. About half-a-mile outside Cranbrook turn left on the A262 for Goudhurst. The simplest route is to go into Goudhurst Village, passing the church. At the pond turn right on to the B2079 (Marden). After two miles of winding road, take the right turn at the crest of a hill. This is signposted Curtisden Green.
From Ashford
From Ashford follow the A28 in the Tenterden Direction. About a mile after the village of High Halden take the right turn (A262) for Goudhurst and Tunbridge Wells, following the instructions for the journey from Cranbrook once in the village of Goudhurst.
