Studying Shakespeare, pupils can get lost in the interpretation of individual lines and the need to extract key points for GCSE coursework essays. Simon Floyd's performance to Year 10 at the end of January reminded us all that Shakespeare was, first and foremost, an excellent storyteller. With great use of voice, posture, facial expression, sound effects and lines from the play, interspersed with re-telling the story, the Year 10's were captivated by his performance.
