About Bethany School : Activities
Activities
Three afternoons a week from 4.00 pm, all students have the opportunity to take part in a huge variety of supervised activities which take place both on and off campus.  Students may change their activities on a termly basis and can choose from a selection of over 20 activities per day, or they may opt for a supervised prep session.

Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme
Although the Duke of Edinburgh's Award is a voluntary activity at Bethany, it is hugely popular and very successful with at least 12 gold awards being achieved by our students each year.  The School is one of only a few in the south-east of England licensed to operate the award independently.  Almost half our students complete their bronze award, with most moving on to take on the challenges of the silver and gold awards.
