About Bethany School : Activities
Activities

Three afternoons a week from 4.00 pm, all students have the opportunity to take part in a huge variety of supervised activities which take place both on and off campus.  Students may change their activities on a termly bais and can choose from a selection of over 20 activities per day, or they may opt for a supervised prep session.

Here is just a sample of what's on offer:

Biking or country pursuits at Bedgebury Pinetum, chef school, symphony orchestra, archery, pottery, school production, riding at Bedgebury Equestrian Centre, ballroom or jazz dancing, life saving, golf, sailing at Bewl Water, cake decorating, softball, art, climbing, pilates, candle making, high flyers English or Maths .... the list goes on and on.

The clubs are run, for the most part, by our staff but, from time to time, outside experts are called in to run a particular club which students may have requested.  Only a few activities, particularly those off-site, will incur an extra charge.

There are also plenty of activities on offer at lunchtimes as they are long enough to allow for practices and rehearsals.  A busy pupil might attend Pizza Express, one of the Junior Christian Clubs, on a Monday, be at a Maths clinic on Tuesday, off to an away match on Wednesday, rehearsing for a production on Thursday and singing in the choir on Friday.
