This year's TBS Reunion Day took place on Saturday, 19th June.  We were aware that a large group of former pupils from 1980 (pictured above) were planning to hold their 30 year reunion at the School and sure enough a large number of them arrived in time for the champagne breakfast in The Orchard and spent the rest of the day at Bethany.

During the course of the morning many familiar faces could be spotted mingling with the current pupils and parents.

Some were returning to the School for the first time in a number of years, including many of those from the 1980's group including three who had travelled from the USA, Canada and Spain.

Lunch was laid on in the Lower Dining Hall for all former pupils, following which the TBS AGM took place.  We are very pleased that Nigel Kimber was installed as President of the Society during the AGM.

Reunion Day coincides with the School's Speech Day, which this year was quite an event as it was Nick Dorey's final Speech Day as Headmaster.  As the TBS and the whole school gathered for tea at the end of a busy day, Robert Pilbeam made a presentation to Nick Dorey on behalf of The Bethanians' Society to thank him for all he had done to support and promote the Society during his time as Headmaster.  A gallery of photos from the day can be seen below.

Reunion Day 2011 will take place on Saturday, 25th June and the class of 1981 are hoping to reunite at Bethany for the day.
